HPP is utterly proud to introduce part of the team!
We are in front of the EDF Fessenheim hydro power plant!
On the Rhin river, EDF operates 13 hydroelectrical plants from Iffesheim to Kembs for a total capacity of 1500 MW. Fessenheim’s capacity is 180 MW under 15,70 meters. Its the most powerful plant on the Rhin.

HPP awarded SOLAR IMPULSE EFFICIENT SOLUTION LABEL

HPP has been awarded the SOLAR IMPULSE EFFICIENT SOLUTION LABEL and belongs to the 1000+ efficient and profitable solutions to protect the environment  for its Optimized Hydro Turbines for rural electrification.
HPP has followed a rigorous assessment process led by independant experts and based on verified standards.
HPP is thereby joining the #1000solutions challenge, an initiative by the Solar Impulse Foundation to select solutions that meet high standards in profitability and sustainability.

Horizontal Pelton – 3.2 MW – New Caledonia

Rehabilitation of 2 x 4MW Francis Turbines in Belgium

A challenging rehabilitation project starts for HPP in Belgium.
It consists of the refurbishment of two of the three units of 4 MW each.

The first step is a full-scale 3D scan of the power plant.
Below the pictures compared with their 3D result.

Design of the two horizontal Francis turbines can now start.
